How to Send Money (WESTERN UNION)
- To use the Seven Bank international money transfer service, you need to open a Seven Bank account and apply for an international money transfer service agreement.(*13,*15,*21)
- The service will provide only money transfers from Japan to overseas and will not provide transfers from overseas to Japan.
- 【About "Deposit into Bank Account" to the Philippines】
* Maximum transfer amount is 500,000 Yen per transaction.
* If the "Deposit-into-bank accoun" is taken in the Philippines, only the account number is checked to ensure that it matches the Receiver's Bank account designated by the customer, and no steps are taken to ensure that the account holder matches the name of the receiver. As such, when taking the Credit-to-Account method in the Philippines, it is particularly important to ensure that the account number for the Receiver's Bank Account is accurate. Therefore, we encourage you to be extra careful when registering the receiver's information.
* About money transfers to some banks: If the receiving bank account is a passbook account, the money will not be processed and refunded back to your account. If the receiving bank is an ATM account, money is available to be received. Please confirm HERE, the list of receiving banks.
* Allied Banking Corporation (Allied Bank) was merged with The Philippine National Bank (PNB). For this reason, if your receiving bank is an old allied bank account, you must designate "Allied Bank" as your receiving bank instead of "PNB".

* If "Deposit into a Bank Account" is taken in China, a deposit procedure is required when making your first deposit into the designated account of the receiver's bank. Therefore, be sure to have the registered receiver call the China Hotline (Western Union) within 3 business days at the receiver's bank. * To check the detailed process for China Hotline, go HERE.
Futhermore, some banks may still require confirmation call even if the money is deposited to the same account for the second time. Please confirm HERE about the receiving banks.* Due to the observance of laws of China's local bank authorities and Western Union, money transfers will be limited by the folowing transactional restrictions.
(1) Per transaction is 50,000 Chinese Yuan (CNY) equivalent
(2) Per day is 80,000 Chinese Yuan (CNY) equivalent (*)
(*) The total amount sent to the same receiving bank account, including transferred funds from other companies
You will be requested to register information necessary for individual money transfers, except amounts of money to be sent and other information, in advance when you apply for an international money transfer service agreement. You will then be able to transfer money easily after the completion of the application procedure through the Internet banking, and Seven Bank ATMs nearby.

- The funds and send charge will be transferred from your Seven Bank account when you request a money transfer. You need to deposit the necessary amount of money into your Seven Bank account through a Seven Bank ATM or through transfer from another bank.

- Request money transfer through the Internet banking or a Seven Bank ATM(*1,*14,*11)
- Please request money transfer through Internet banking or a Seven Bank ATM. Choose a receiver from a list of registered receivers, specify an amount of money to transfer in yen, and enter other information on the transaction screen.

The receiver needs to have certain information, including the MTCN (Money Transfer Control Number) to receive the funds. Please give the receiver the necessary information, including the MTCN shown on the screen and the receipt after your application for money transfer has been accepted.

- * The transfer reversal fee for the credit-to-account method is 2,000 Yen.
(This is the amount for one reversal request. This fee can not be returned even when the transfer reversal can not be carried out.) - * If funds are credited to the wrong account due to customer's incorrect registration of the account number and if the account holder of the said receiving destination does not give its/his consent or, the transfer reversal cannot be carried out. About the Credit-to-Account to the Philippines, it may be difficult to get in touch with the account holder where funds where credited by reasons such as the receiving bank does not contact the receiver and other related reasons. In addition, a reversal may not be possible due to the rejection by the Receiver's Bank or due to any restrictions under the laws and ordinances of the relevant country. In such case, the Bank shall not be responsible for any damages arising in relation thereto.
