Seven Bank raises Bonolon
Since 2005, Seven Bank has sponsored Guardian of the Forest Bonolon, a magazine-type picture book produced by Tetsuo Hara that sparks communication and connection between parents and their children. As a company, we resonate with the book's mission of providing illustrated stories for reading aloud. We distribute free books at 7-Eleven stores across Japan every other month, making it easy for children, their parents and grandparents to obtain a copy. Seven Bank will continue supporting the magazine's production. We believe that Bonolon's gentleness and courage, and the heart-warming world he inhabits, provides nourishment that will fuel inner growth for future generations of children.

to help nurture their inquisitive minds.
Guardian of the Forest Bonolon is offered free of charge at Seven Bank headquarters and at 7-Eleven, Akachan Honpo, Denny's locations across Japan. It is released on the 15th of every even-numbered month (Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct, Dec). *Due to limited production volume, some stores run out early. Thank you for your understanding.

The World of Bonolon
Bonolon is the guardian of the forest of Tasmun, the spiritual dwelling of a giant tree. He is nine years old, a boy with a large build in an orange complexion.
Everybody trusts him because he has a strong sense of justice.
When human tears of sadness trickle down on the giant tree, it reaches the forest of Tasmun through its roots. Bonolon hears the reason of the tears from the giant tree and decides to appear before the human being, trying to encourage people to overcome the issues without relying on his magical powers—truly kind at heart, Bonolon makes wishes come true through a gentle push on the back.

Issuance of Social Contribution-Type Cash Cards
Contributing to Society through Bonolon Cash Cards
Since July 2011, we have been issuing cash cards designed Bonolon to customers who wish when they apply for Seven Bank accounts.。
As part of our social contribution activities, we donated 100 yen per Bonolon cash card from Seven Bank. The picture book Bonolon is specially edited and donated to a children's center.
Large-format Bonolon books for read-aloud events
Seven Bank supports read-aloud events that members of the public organize themselves. Once a year we produce a large-format Bonolon book for larger read-aloud events, and lend them out upon request. The large-format Bonolon lineup now includes more than 15 volumes. In this way, we encourage and support efforts to promote the healthy development of future generations.
