Important Notice
[Important] Discontinuance of Smartphone Authentication Service
We will discontinue the Smartphone Authentication Service (VIP Access) as of Sunday, August 21, 2022 (tentative).
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to users of this service and ask for their understanding.
-
*Those currently using this service will be able to continue to use it until the date of discontinuance.
-
*Please note that the schedule may be subject to change.
After the discontinuance of this service, we will introduce a new authentication service, which will enable our customers to use a secure authentication procedure—which has been provided in the Smartphone Authentication Service—in the My Seven Bank App or the International Money Transfer App. Details will be announced separately.
[To customers whose transfer limit under the Direct Banking Service is set at 1,010,000 yen or more]
For customers who are registered users of the Smartphone Authentication Service when the service is discontinued and whose transfer limit under the Direct Banking Service is set at 1,010,000 yen or more, their transfer limits will be reduced to 1 million yen automatically after the service is discontinued.
If you wish to transfer more than 1,000,000 yen via the Direct Banking Service after this service is discontinued, you will be able to change the transfer limit using a new authentication service.
We will continue to provide services that our customers can use conveniently and with peace of mind. We hope for your continuing use of our services.
