Introduction of a new authentication method for J/Secure

Thank you for your continued use of Seven Bank.

With a view to enhancing safety at the time of payment of debit transactions, we will introduce one-time password authentication as a new authentication method for J/Secure™ as of Tuesday, October 1, 2024.

If you change the authentication method to one-time password authentication, you will receive a one-time password sent to your registered email address or cell phone number (SMS) at the time of payment of a transaction by a debit card, and you can complete the payment by entering the one-time password.

＊Please note that this authentication method is different from one-time password authentication you may perform using Seven Bank Money Transfer App for some types of transactions when you use the Seven Bank Direct Banking Service.

With regard to customers who have registered with J/Secure and have registered MyJCB login password authentication and their email address, we will change their authentication method to one-time password authentication from October 2024 and onward.

You can also change the authentication method to one-time password authentication yourself via MyJCB.

Upon the introduction of one-time password authentication, we will introduce new provisions and revise some existing provisions in the Seven Bank Account Terms and Conditions as follows.
